In the year 2013, Google introduced the blogger contact form; the form allows users or readers to send a direct message to the blog admin. The problem with the form was that it only showed up by the sidebar or any position on the blog instead of on a single page like most WordPress blogs.
This post will show you how to add a contact form to a single page on blogger so that you can easily receive messages, advert request and many others from your readers.
How to Add the Contact Form to a Page on Blogger
Step 1: First of all, add the contact form to your sidebar and confirm if you are receiving emails via the contact form. You can do this by clicking on layout >> add a gadget >> more gadgets >> Contact form then save.
Now visit your site and fill in the contact form correctly. Go to your email and check if you received any message. If you received a message, it means your contact form is working perfectly fine, go back to layout and remove the contact form.
Step 2: To add the contact form on a single page, get the blog id of your blog. You can find this at the address bar while logged into your blogger account, check the image below for more info.
When you get the blog ID code, copy it somewhere.
Step 3: Create a new page on your blog. You could name it whatever you like; “Contact me” or “Contact Us” will be more preferable.
After naming the page, switch to “HTML”.
Step 4: Copy the code below are paste it into the blank space.
Paste the code into the blank space and replace the code in red with your blog ID.
Step 5: Click on options on the left-hand side, disable the comment section, click done and publish the page.
You should disable the comment section so that it won’t distract readers. Some readers may begin to use the comment section instead if not disable it.
Click on publish when you are done.
You can preview your new blogger contact page right now.
